The eyes look upward
and, at the same time, in a new, exciting direction: On Saturday, June 27, 2026, ASTRO - the trade fair for astronomy - will make its debut at the exhibition grounds of Messe Friedrichshafen. Running concurrently with HAM RADIO, this event opens up a new field of interest for everyone passionate about space, astronomical observation, and modern technology.
Specialized retailers, manufacturers, and astronomy associations will showcase telescopes, observation instruments, accessories, and much more. A flea market for astronomy supplies and expert lectures rounds out the offerings. The trade show will take place in its own 6,300-sqm hall and is aimed at a tech-savvy, discovery-seeking audience.
The location on Lake Constance, situated at the intersection of four countries, offers not only scenic beauty but also a high concentration of innovation. Numerous astronomy associations within a 100 km radius and a strong culture of tinkerers make the region an attractive meeting place for everyone interested in the sky above us—and in the technology that makes it understandable.
