With the LP102070DN, ANjo Antennas introduces a new 3-band antenna specifically designed for the amateur radio entry-level licence class E and its permitted amateur bands 10 m, 2 m and 70 cm. The aim is to make access to amateur radio easier for newcomers and young operators.
The LP102070DN is a small, lightweight and easily disassemblable 4-element log-periodic dipole antenna for the 2 m and 70 cm bands, featuring an integrated 10 m dipole. The dipole is an integral part of the LPDA and not an additional attachment. The 10 m band can be used from approximately 28–29 MHz.
The antenna gain is 2.1 dBi on 10 m and 8.6 dBi on 2 m and 70 cm. Power handling is rated at 30 W CW and 100 W PEP.
The 10 m dipole is mechanically shortened and electrically extended by loading coils, allowing the antenna to be used even in balcony installations.
Thanks to its compact dimensions and good portability, the LP102070DN is suitable for both stationary and portable applications. 📡
