N3B is a microcontroller powered SDR transceiver that receives on 739MHz and transmits on 2.4 GHz to be able to work on QO-100 satellite. It is SDR based and supports all modulation types (AM, FM, SSB, CW, etc.) and may be extended to have more digital features/protocols.
This lecture will be about a brief information on
- design concepts
- basic resuirements
- implementation steps
- and current status of the project
Main features of N3B are as follows:
- Opensource
- 3.2" TFT display with waterfall and spectrum
- Full duplex operation
- ~ 4Watts output
- ~ -110dBm receiver sensitivity
- SDR
