Following a two-year hiatus, amateur radio enthusiasts are packing up their antennas, assembling their best radio gear, and making their way to the 45th HAM Radio. In keeping with the slogan of “Seeing Friends Again”, Europe’s largest amateur radio exhibition will be drawing in radio amateurs from all over the world, enabling them to again meet each other in person, to exchange information about their favourite hobby, and to get their hands on the latest accessories. At the press conference, you can learn more from our guests in regard to topics such as why working as an IT expert in Antarctica is not a pipe dream and why the Lake Constance Emergency Radio initiative in Friedrichshafen is serving as the pilot project for the nationwide emergency radio network in Germany.
